Adjust, refine edits – You can make edits to your rough edit and refine with standard editing and trimming.Record the Multicamera edits – A special view in the Program Monitor, called the Multi-Camera, is used for switching between camera angles.Add Multicamera Source Sequence to new sequence for editing – The new sequence is the multicamera target master sequence. This is a special sequence that contains the multiple video angles. Create Multicamera Source Sequence – The camera angles are added to a multicamera source sequence. If you had to start over, then start recording with all cameras, then do your clap. The sound markings or audio claps will be used to synchronize all the camera views. Every time you start to record a new video clip when you are shooting for a multicamera sequence, start each clip with clapping your hands two or three times. Clap your hands 2 or 3 times, create sync points – You will need an audio indicator for ALL clips.
NOTE: The audio will be used for syncing your video clips from all the different camera views.
If you can, attach external microphones to all your camera. It’s vital that you have at least one good audio track. Make sure the audio is working and you can hear the audio with headset or earbuds. Have one camera, you main camera, with an external microphone. Make sure you are recording audio on ALL cameras.

What? You can give your video the look of a big production team with two or more camera views simply by creating a multicamera source sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. After you have synced your clips together, you can edit or cut between the multiple angles in Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Time code or common audio tracks are used to create as sync point. I don't think this answers your question, no Premiere support listed: BMDFilm for ACR.Multicamera editing is the process of synchronizing many camera angles to create a video recorded at the same time. I purchased some SpeedLooks packs over a year ago, so there may be updated and additional BM camera profiles for specific camera models. There may now be a camera profile specifically for BMCC, BMPCC and/or BMPC. There is camera profile for both BM RAW files and BM ProRes. The BM RAW SL should prep the CDNG files before applying their Look files that come with Premiere CC, and also for their SpeedLooks LUTs that can be purchased separately. But I used a simple Rec709 to LOG LUT and that sort of worked, but most LUTs that were supposed to work with LOG footage did not match ProRes LOG footage that had the same LUT applied.Īnyone know a LUT that will turn Rec709 into Blackmagic LOG/Film?I think Looklabs referenced Arri Log C to bring all other camera footage to when they created the camera profile LUTs, so that when you thereafter apply their 'look' LUTs in the stack, the developed result would be somewhat universal and similar between all supported cameras. Yeah, I just messed around a bit with CC 2015 & BMPCC RAW files and the BM RAW SL 'Input LUT' does not convert the footage from Rec 709 to LOG. Alternatively, I am wrong and disregard my comment. SpeedLooks have camera profile LUTs so you can shoot multicam with different cameras, and the camera profile LUT specifically designed for each different camera will convert all the different camera footage to a reasonably close flat LOG, then apply your SpeedLooks LUT (say, 3500 CLEAN or other) and all the different camera footage will have reasonably close and balanced colour in your edit/finish. , the BM RAW SL 'Input LUT' is likely a Looklabs camera profile pre-LUT for SpeedLooks. Fine for proxies though so is a bit of a step forward for me. The whole point of providing a flat profile is to do the neutralising and first light. Presume its just putting a LOG Lut on the Rec709 space, which is fine for video work where the output would be REC709 but for film work it wouldn't be. I notice in this video you can change the INPUT LUT to BM RAW SL which I presume is LOG. Kind of a no-go for me for film work, but ok for video work.
#Multicam premiere cc 2015 update#
Was hoping there was going to be a change in this update but seems not. As I understand it PP automatically slams it into REC709 straight after the debayering.
